About the LC Token
$LC is the native utility token powering the DegenSafe ecosystem — a Solana launchpad built to raise standards in how tokens are launched, assessed, and traded.
LC exists to support a deliberate shift in launchpad culture: away from blind speculation and toward fairer launches, clearer risk visibility, and informed participation. It is not designed to be a passive meme asset — it is an active component of the platform's mechanics and incentives.
As DegenSafe evolves, LC is designed to mature alongside it.
How LC Is Used
Platform Access & Feature Gating
LC is required to unlock key DegenSafe functionality, including TrustHub access, advanced analytics, and premium platform features. Gating access through LC helps align users with the ecosystem and reduces exploitative behaviour.
Token Launch Requirement
All projects launching on DegenSafe are required to use LC as part of the launch process. This ensures creators have direct economic alignment with the platform and ties overall activity back to the LC token.
Staking (Coming soon)
LC can be staked to unlock enhanced access and platform-level benefits.
As the platform progresses beyond v1, staking is designed to transition LC into a yield-participating asset, where stakers share in platform-generated revenue once v2 is live. Specific mechanics and distribution models will be introduced through future platform updates.
Governance (Planned)
Governance functionality will be introduced over time, enabling LC holders to participate in decisions around feature prioritisation, parameter changes, and the long-term direction of the DegenSafe ecosystem.
Designed for Alignment, Not Hype
LC is not positioned as a short-term speculative instrument. It is the economic backbone of DegenSafe — aligning traders, builders, and long-term supporters around a shared goal: improving how launches happen in Web3.
